The Protective Order Pro Bono Project (POPBP), was created to match volunteer attorneys and law students with victims of domestic abuse. These teams interview, counsel and represent the victim at contempt hearings to make sure the perpetrator is punished when that protective order is violated.

"The use of power and control within an intimate relationship that threatens a person's well being."
